Hosting (GitHub Pages)

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you access the site, GitHub automatically collects server log data (including your IP address, browser type, and time of access) for the purpose of delivering the website securely (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in a stable, secure service).

Cookies & consent

We only set non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). On your first visit a banner lets you accept or decline with equal ease. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you consent, no analytics or advertising cookies are set and only cookieless, aggregated signals may be sent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer.

Google Analytics 4

Only after your consent do we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to analyse site usage statistically. IP anonymisation is enabled. Data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Tag Manager

We may use Google Tag Manager to manage the above tags. The Tag Manager itself does not create user profiles or store cookies; it only triggers other tags in accordance with your consent.

Google AdSense

To finance this free service we may display advertising via Google AdSense (Google Ireland Ltd.) after your consent. AdSense uses cookies to show and measure ads. Personalised advertising is only used if you consent; otherwise only non-personalised ads are shown. You can manage ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Web fonts

We load the “Inter” and “Sora” fonts via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). When a font is loaded, your IP address is transmitted to Google. This serves a consistent, appealing presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
