How to choose the right provider
Proximity
Transport is charged by distance. A supplier nearby is often cheaper than a marginally lower unit price far away.
Range
Some specialise in modular buildings, others in used shipping containers or waste skips. Match this to your project.
Condition & documentation
For used units ask for photos of the actual container, its condition grade and, for shipping use, a valid CSC plate.
Delivery
Clarify vehicle type, access requirements and whether a crane is needed – these costs are often quoted separately.
Service & warranty
Who is responsible for maintenance and repairs during a rental period? What is the response time?
Written quote
Insist on a written, itemised quote: unit, delivery, collection, deposit, minimum rental period.
